Chia Seeds

We, humans, have come to love and enjoy chia seeds in many forms, most popular, in chia pudding. But why should I feed chia seeds to my dog?

The benefits for dogs are very similar to the ones for us. The main support chia seeds provide are internal. Chia seeds have digestive and anti-inflammatory properties that support the dog's digestive track.

Whether you add chia seeds to your dogs food every once in a while or use them to bake vegan dog treats (or buy ours ;-) ) & cakes, your dog will benefit from their great qualities.

Note: Just like for humans, chia seeds need to have soaked in water for 10 to 15 minutes before they can be consumed by dogs. E.g.: 2 tablespoons of chia seeds should be soaked in 6 tablespoons of water. You will get a "chia pudding" consistency.
